Obituary for Billie Ann Visintainer

Billie Ann Visintainer
Billie Ann passed away suddenly at the age of 83 on May 17th 2018 at the Hospice of the Valley Critical Care Center in Phoenix Arizona with her daughter, Theresia and granddaughter, Natasia at her side. For more than 5 years, Billie Ann has shown her courage and determination for life during her fight and courageous battle with not one but two terrible diseases, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. For the past 5 years Billie Ann resided with her daughter Theresia and son in law Lloyd in their home located in Phoenix Arizona.

Billie Ann along with her twin sister Bonnie May was born on March 31st, 1935 in Maybell Colorado at the Roberts homestead. Billie Ann grew up in Maybell along with her 8 siblings, many cousins, family and friends. Some of her fondest memories that she spoke of often even up to her last weeks with us and through the road blocks of Alzheimer were those of her time in Maybell.

Billie Ann left Maybel for the first time and moved to Vernal Utah area after marrying her first husband rancher Cecil Conner. During her time in Vernal she and Cecil welcomed daughters Irene Denise and Celia Gay.

After her divorce with Cecil, Billie Ann went back to Maybell and worked in her parents’ restaurant as a waitress where she met her second husband Walter Visintainer. Billie Ann enjoyed once again living in Maybell. While there Walter and Bille Ann welcomed daughter Theresia Renee. From Maybell, Walter and Billie Ann moved to Craig, for Walter to pursue his drilling business where they welcomed daughter Melanie Lynne.

Billie Ann's surviving siblings are younger sister Lorna Wagner in Grand Junction Colorado, older brother Dennis and sister in law Diane Roberts in Florida, younger brother Kenneth and sister in law Sherrie Roberts in Craig Colorado and younger brother Larry and sister in law Lucy in Arizona. Billie Ann is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces that she loved very much.

Billie Ann's life on earth will be dearly and sadly missed the very most by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren she has been living with and near while enjoying her last years. Daughter Theresia and son in law Lloyd Reed, grandson Nathaniel (Tabitha) Reed, great granddaughter Tarah, granddaughter Natasia (Michael) Ashing, great grandsons Karson, Chance, Brandon, and great granddaughter Payton; grandson Russell (Katy) Reed, great grandson Easton and great twin granddaughters Paisley and Riley. Billie Ann will also be missed by her daughters Irene Visintainer in Kansas, Celia (CeCe) Conner in Colorado, Melanie Visintainer in Arizona, grandson Tristan Moore in Mexico as well as granddaughter Teaerra Moore and great grandson Davion Larson in Idaho.

Billie Ann is now free of pain and suffering and has joined family in Heaven; her twin sister Bonnie May, her parents Jerry Daniel Roberts and Mabel Irene (Gibbs) Roberts, older brother Lester Roberts, older sister Betty Ellifritz, younger sister Julia (Judy) Johnson and many other family members of the Roberts and Gibbs family.

A Celebration of Life will be held summer of 2019 in Craig, CO

" Those we hold most dear never truly leave us ...
they live on in the kindness they showed,
the comfort they shared, and the love they brought into our lives."
