The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marcia Pilato can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Marcia Lou Pilato

Marcia Lou Pilato
Marcia Lou Pilato

In the embrace of her husbands hand, Marcia passed away peacefully on July 19, 2018 at the young age of 79, after her heroic battle with lung cancer. Marcia was born in Springville, N.Y. on November 21, 1938 to Welthy and Edson Marble and was the youngest of 6 sisters. She worked as a beautician for several years in New York and in Arizona and met amazing friends whom she loved dearly along the way. Marcia married Anthony Pilato on February 5, 1972 in Buffalo, New York and shortly after moved to Arizona. Marcia is survived by her husband Anthony Pilato, her two sons Tony Pilato, Angelo Pilato and daughter in law Jennifer Pilato, her sister Marilyn Havens and brother in law Bill Havens, sister Eleanor Barthel and several nieces and nephews. Marcia loved being a wife and a mother and was an amazing grandma to her two grandsons Christopher and Tyler. Marcia will be missed enormously by her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her big heart, kindness to all she met, her smile, her laugh, her love for sweets and coffee but, most importantly for her unconditional love for her family and friends!

Special thank you to all the Nurses and Doctors we have met on this journey and the amazing staff at Hospice of the Valley in Surprise, AZ.
