My grandmother was one of the sassiest, coolest and sweetest women I know. I am beyond blessed to have had her in my life and had the pleasure of calling her my Grandma! I never had a dull time when I was around her. We were either making jokes, playing games, singing and dancing, or watching and gabbing about our soaps, I always had a blast! I will treasure every minute with this wonderful woman! One of the things I will never forget is how much she loved my son. It took my 8 years for God to bless me, but that little man is so loved already, especially by Grandma. She called him "my boy, my baby" and lit up every time she saw him. I wasn't sure I would ever have children, but it was always my dream to have my child meet my Grandma, and that happened. The last and final time I got to visit Grandma, he lit up and smiled ear to ear seeing her. As soon as we walked in the room, it was "give me that baby"! This photo is the single greatest photo I have and will have ever taken. It is love, pure and simple. I will miss her every day and will never stop thinking about her, but I know she is watching over us, especially her baby boy!

Jackie and I were neighbors, growing up across the street from each other. She was a little older than I but since we were the only little kids on the block we played together anyway. We would gallop around the vacant lot next door and play cowboys and indians. I think she was Roy Rogers and I was Gene Autry. We grew out of that stage and before long started noticing boys. She said if we would go in the closet and say a prayer some boys might come over to see us and talk with us. I don't think it ever worked that way., but we tried. We each moved away after we married, but never forgot each other , nor did we forget the fun we had has kids. I haven"t seen Jackie in many years, We sent Christmas cards and birthday cards and had an occasional phone call. I will miss her. She was a good person. Her family meant the world to her, in fact, her family was her world. She will be misssed.

I will never forget this day. Rawhide and I got momma arrested. She made it so funny, yet wanted to choke me. I miss you mom.

So sorry to each of you for your loss. Yes, Jackie is now at peace but it hurts those left here. Losing a parent is so hard. Blessings to all of you. Lois Wright (Knew Jackie from Bethel Lutheran)
