Obituary of David Kevin Baxter

David Kevin Baxter was born May 22nd 1956 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born to Mary Goodin and Dave Baxter. He was the oldest of three boys – his brothers are Britt and Ty. His family moved to Phoenix, Arizona when David was only six months old. He spent the rest of his life there and was a true Arizonan at heart. He grew up in the Maryvale area and attended Trevor Brown High School. Although he may not have known it at the time, the love of his life was just down the street. Even though it took them some time to find each other, they had a long-lasting marriage of 33 years. For the last two decades, they have lived together in Surprise. He passed on Friday, February 17th, 2023, at the age of 66. He was preceded by his mother. He was survived by his father and two brothers, his wife Terri, and their three children. His oldest son, Chris Davis, his spouse Sylvia Sandoval, and their children Sebastian, Ubaldo and Ahmber, and five great grandchildren will remember David as “Papa.” His youngest son, Kyle Davis, his spouse Angela Phillips, and their children Hailie, Dylan, Marissa, and Isabella. His only daughter, Kayla Davis, her spouse Jose Sandoval, and their children Emmaleigha, Elizabeth, and Elliott. Papa will continue to live on in their hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 26th, 2023, at Regency Mortuary at 9850 W.
