I send my sincere condolences to the family and I'm sorry for your loss. Dave was a caring, wonderful friend to my husband, Carey, and all who knew him. Their friendship started on the Pinewood Fire Department and continued when Dave moved to the Valley. Later years, Dave was my FB friend and he always had kind words to say in memory Carey, which I appreciated. I will miss him and his posts on FB. I will keep the family in my prayers for comfort, peace and strength. Love to all of the family!

I first met Dave at the Center for Spiritual Living Prescott. He had the most engaging, mischievious smile. As I got to know him, his love for his family was always expressed To Kay, his children and grandchildren, you have so much to remember and treasure always. May all those special memories comfort your heart. Dave's spirit is soaring on a joyful breeze where rainbows begin. Today and always we celebrate his life.

I met Dave or as I always called him David from the neighborhood when we were teenagers. I'm the same year as his brother Doug and my sister his sister Denise. Reconnected via FB and during his many hospital visits I spent time with him. Five years ago during one of those visits he kept a close watch on his FB post and those following and posting. He lite up as the numbers grew. He loved people and if you ever needed a positive comment on a post, rest assured David would bring that happy note. I'll miss this guy yet am glad his now rests in peace. Wish I knew how to spell those teenage words He would speak. God bless you David.

I met Dave when we both attended Valencia then Granada elementary schools. I remember him as a nice guy. As adults, we reconnected on Facebook. Dave was a keeper of memories. He shared stories of his family, especially his parents, frequently. He also started a group for his childhood neighborhood friends who lived on Pierson Street. He included me, even though I had lived several blocks away on 30th Avenue. Dave was a people collector. He had numerous friends from all his different walks of life, including many he never met in person. I'm grateful for our shared memories as kids, and our many conversations as adults. Talking with Dave always made me feel like we only parted a few weeks ago and would meet up again next week. Instead, I hadn't seen him since 1966. Thinking of Dave will always bring a smile to my lips. I treasure the friendship we fostered. I know there's a heckuva party going on in Heaven with Dave's arrival. As much as I miss interacting with him, he's home and he's healed. I hope that brings everyone peace. He was tired and he was done. My condolences to Kay and his children, grandchildren, and siblings. He loved all of you deeply and expressed it openly. We loved him too.

I met Dave through other FB friends several years ago. We never were able to meet in person as whenever we planned meet/greets he was unable to attend. My heart is deeply saddened by his passing though I know many times he was so tired of his frequent "visits" to the hospital. I know he loved his wife Kay so very much & proud of her accomplishments as well as those of his kids & grands. He created a good/recipe group that many of us became members of & will continue to be part of. To Kay and Dave's kids, grands, and siblings please accept my deepest condolences
