Obituary of Isabel P. Ybarra

Isabel P. Ybarra January 15, 1930 - May 22, 2022 Isabel Palacios Ybarra, age 92, passed at Country Homes Estates hospice in Mesa, Arizona on Sunday, May 22, 2002 after a short stay in the hospital. She was born on January 15, 1930 in Clemenceau, Arizona to the late Emilio and Petra Palacios and was the seventh of eleven children. Isabel attended school in Clemenceau and in Superior, Arizona. On July 20, 1948, she was united in marriage to Jose V. “Joe” Ybarra in Superior, Arizona. Isabel was a loyal and extremely active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church where she served over 60 years in a variety of ways including cooking for the “Fiestas” and every luncheon, and collecting money for the yearly Bishop’s Charity Fund. Isabel is survived by her four children including her son, Robert “Bobby” Ybarra and Linda; daughter, Mary Christine Ybarra; son Stephen Andrew Ybarra and Debbie; and son David “Divie” Ybarra and Kim; 14 grandchildren: Billy, Nathan, Jessica, RJ, “Fonzie”, Zach, Vanessa, Noah, Angel, Micah, Lucas, JJ, Gabby, and “Chano”; and 25 great grandchildren: Lindsay, McKenna, Nathan Jr., Zachary, Beya, Aalia, Olivia, Ryus, Baron, Blaine, Ryland, Xander, Noel, Camella, Alana, Eldefonso, Evangeline, Micah, Ada, Calvin, Landry, Malikai, Kambry, Knox, Serena, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
