Obituary of Ruth Elaine Jordan

Ruth Elaine (Hegner) Jordan, born May 12, 1939, in Union City, Pennsylvania to now deceased parents Glenn and Dorothy Hegner. After residing in Erie, Pennsylvania, Ruth and her family moved to Buckeye, Arizona in the summer of 1978. Ruth passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on March 23, 2022 encircled by the love of her five children, Dorothy (Mark) Mancil, Linda (Sam Martinez) Lance, Elaine (Daniel) Lamm, Robert Lance, and Greta Lavendol. Ruth wed Robert Lance, who has since passed, in New York, 1962. Walter Jordan, became her second husband in Phoenix, 1989 and she was widowed 3 years later. She was preceded in death by sisters Lucille Brumbaugh and Joyce Goodbye as well as brother Phillip Hegner. The surviving siblings are Dick Hegner, Howard Hegner and Merriann Perrine. Ruth was a devout Christian that embraced the title of Nana for all. Her children blessed her with 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Her joy and laughter will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
