Obituary of Louise Incontro

In Loving Memory of Louise "Lucia" Incontro March 28th, 1928 - January 20th, 2022 Louise, born in Sicily under her given name of "Lucia", was the second of six children. She outlived all her siblings, being the last to pass into God's loving arms on January 20th, 2022. Although her marriage to our Father, Salvatore A. Incontro "Sam", was arranged, theirs was a rarity in that they actually fell in love. Their time together will always be a true testament to love which lasted for 65 years. Louise was never one to sit idle. After raising her five children and with the support of a loving husband, she ventured into the working world -- unusual for the time. She not only succeeded, but thrived in her field of expertise. She had an extensive and rewarding career working in the fine apparel industry as a high quality seamstress, producing for exclusive fashion houses including Haus Aquila, Tops of Omaha, J. Braggs and Co., Drapers and Damon's of Southern California, and finally capping off her illustrious career with Elizabeth Arden the Salon. More than anything else Louise loved life and lived her life without regret. Everyone was drawn in by her charm, warmth and laughter. Even though she leaves behind many broken hearts, those of us closest to her will miss her most. We will forever love her and never forget the wonderful woman she was. Preceded by her husband Salvatore in death, Louise is survived by five children: Laura, Julie, Dino, Cecilia and Christopher, as well as multiple grand and great grandchildren.
