I am thankful and grateful to have met Carol when she so graciously invited me to her home to meet my birth mother, her sister Charleen. It was such a great time! Her and Jerry were so kind and gracious and took us to see the Grand Canyon! I'll never forget the time and talks we had especially the one as we were standing around in the kitchen and talking story and Carol started laughing and pointed at me and said, "Look, Charleen! She even stands like at the sink like you!" She was warm and very fun loving. She is loved and she will be missed...Jerry, my deepest love and condolences to you and the family. God bless you. Love, Beverly

I'm so sorry for your loss. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.I think Carol is probably playing cards of some sort with Marie, Pearl and Jenny. I remember her watching tv with Eng while the gals played many hands , taking a break only to have the usual fried egg sandwich. May God and your loving memories help you through this difficult time.

Jerry and family,I am so sorry for your loss. Carol and I grew up together as friends and neighbors. We never missed a basketball game!! We spent a lot of time together practicing our band lessons. Carol would walk over to my house every night so she could play my saxophone instead of her clarinet. She had a great ear for music. We shared many ups and downs together. She always had a beautiful smile and a kind heart! May she Rest In Peace. Goodbye until we meet again some day. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Still in the planning stage is a graveside inurnment service to be held at Bergen Lutheran Church near Bristol, SD sometime in the Spring.I want to thank those of you who have reached out to us during this difficult time. We were blessed to be able to spend her final hour on this earth with her so for that we're grateful. We're also comforted by her strong belief in God's promise of eternal life. Many of you know that I was a bit of a hell-raiser during my teen years and rarely saw the inside of a church after high school. That trend continued after our marriage until Tiffany was several years old. One morning, Carol told me that she felt something was missing and asked if we were going to raise our kids to know Jesus the way our parents had raised us. So, the following Sunday we began our family journey at Good Shepherd Lutheran with pastors Roger and Kay. Carol led our family back to the flock.

Carol was always one of my favorite friends moms, so sweet and caring, always asking how I was doing, and I could tell she truly cared ️ Big hugs to the Skaare family, especially my friend Tiffany️Lindzay Green
