Born on February 8th,1936 in Sioux City Iowa, and ending his physical journey on September 13, 2021, in Phoenix/Peoria, Arizona. Services will be held at Regency Mortuary 9850 W Thunderbird Rd Sun City, AZ 85351 on October 15th, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. Matt grew up in Sioux City, Iowa, graduated from Heelan High School in 1954; attended DeVry in Chicago, Ill. Preceded in death by his parents Bernice Imo Gard, and Earl J. Houlihan, brother, Donald Houlihan, ex-wife Jean Burns Houlihan, daughter in law Diane Poehlman Houlihan Matt’s surviving brothers are Dean and Lorraine Houlihan, Bob and Connie Houlihan His children are Matthew Tod and Diane(deceased) Houlihan, Sheri Houlihan, Shayleen and Tom Martin, Patrick and Wendy Houlihan, with twelve grandchildren: Jeremy and Mary, Shannon and Jimmy, Jeff and Deborah, Sarah, Paul and Vanessa, Jessica and Gu, Rachel, David, Matthew Casey, Cameron, Preslee, Mazie, and Ten great grandchildren: Bella, JJ, Annabell, Kiley, Huxley, Nathaniel, Elisabeth, Emily, Theodore, Jayce, so far.
