Obituary of Lonnie Brown "Butch" Jr.

Lonnie Ray Brown Jr. “Butch” , passed away peacefully on August 20, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and kids. He was born on January 3, 1980 to Lonnie and Helen Brown. He was the second of four sons and grew up in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He enjoyed sports and played football in high school. Lonnie went to Northwestern State University and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering. He married his high school sweetheart, Shashila, in 2004. They had three children and raised them in their hometown of Natchitoches. In 2018, they decided to move the family to Surprise, Arizona. Lonnie worked for Intel in Chandler, Arizona. He loved traveling, sunsets, and weekend adventures with the family. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, horses and investing in the stock market. He also liked classic vehicles and sports cars. Lonnie had a positive outlook and lived life with no regrets, always giving his best and to his full potential. Lonnie is survived by his loving wife Shashila, children Ashtyn, Kaylen, and McKenzie, his parents Lonnie and Helen, siblings Donnie, Kenneth, and Antonio Brown, his grandparents Jake and Ernestine Wells, aunts, uncles and many other family and friends. He was recently preceded in death by his aunt Mable Nash. A celebration of life will be held by family at a later date. Lonnie was an amazing husband and father, he will be forever in our hearts.
