Obituary of Debra Sniegowski
Debra Ann Sniegowski (61) went to her Heavenly home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was
surrounded by her friends and family when she gained her wings. July 13, 2021, was a day we won’t
forget. Her life starts November 11, 1959, when she was born to Joe Harris and Kathlyn Catalde. She had
made her way to Phoenix, AZ where she met Steve, the love of her life. They would date for a few years
before they would get married in 1978. They had three children , Shauna, James, and Daniel.
Debbie was an excellent mother and wife; she stayed home and took care of the children. She loved to
have family and friends over, there was no need to call before you came, you were always welcome.
And when you left, you were told to “ give a 1 ringer” when you got home. The house always smelled
like pine-sol and bread. Thus, the nickname “ Debbie Dough”. She loved to bake and made the best rolls
and cinnamon rolls. She loves Jesus and the Blessed Mother, and her life showed. Debbie taught us to
forgive and to love as Jesus would love. She didn’t give up on anyone. There are so many memories of
Debbie, but I think something that is important is acknowledging the way she lived. She always prayed
for wisdom and discernment, and she received it. She was a living example of how to get to Heaven.
She was preceded in death by Joe Harris, father, Kathlyn Williamson, mother. Survived by her husband
Stephen Sniegowski. Shauna & Jason Harkison, James Sniegowski and Daniel Sniegowski and their
significant others. Grandchildren, Kalista, Trey, Jocelyn, Ryann, Logan, Kyran, Maxwell and Jessica, in
that order. We can’t forget her beloved Frenchie, London. Sisters JoAnn (Charlie) Stewart, Marie (Alan)
Bombara, Jeannie Williamson, Brothers, Joe (Marlene) Harris and John (Annie) Harris. The Sniegowski
family and many others that she has touched.
