Obituary of Kaitlyn Marie McMullen

Kaitlyn Marie McMullen was born December 3rd, 1990, the only daughter of Kristina and Bill McMullen. She was doted on by her older brothers, Jason and Ryan. Kaitlyn was a vibrant person from the start with a passion for life. She was always ready with a smile for anyone she met, and loved to help anyone in need. Katie’s biggest joy came from her love for her three sons: Jayden, Nico, and Rowan. Jayden says that his mom was the nicest person in the family and loved camping. Nico loved Mom’s hugs and the good food that she cooked. Rowan loved all of the fun places that Mommy took them. Her family loved to hear her magnificent singing voice.

Katie left this world on May 8, 2023. She is survived by her mother, Kristina; her three sons, Jayden, Nicco, and Rowan; her brothers, Jason and Ryan; her grandmother, Janet Simonetta; and her partner of 12 years, Victor Avila. She is also mourned by her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life in the Sedona desert, one of Katie’s favorite places, at a later time.
