Obituary of Robyn Dianne Blanton

 

Robyn Dianne White Blanton was born on February 28th, 1939 in Portland, Oregon.  She passed away with grace and dignity on July 16th, 2023 in Peoria, Arizona.  She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Dan Blanton, her mother Genevieve  White, father Larry White, and brother Martin White.  

 

She leaves in love her daughter Becky Thornton, son-in-law Mark Thornton, grandchildren Abby and Connor Thornton, her brother Larry White Jr., and many other dear family members and friends who have been by her side through this journey.

 

Robyn loved deeply and was selfless.  Always thinking of others, she never forgot a birthday or special occasion and probably sent you brownies or took you out to eat to celebrate!  She attended every event she was invited to and loved parties and gatherings. She was happiest to plan events but liked to stay behind the scenes.  It was never about her but about the people she was honored to be in the presence of. Getting people together is her legacy.

 

She was gracious and positive every day of her life. She never complained, loved to play cards, do puzzles and watch game shows. She enjoyed traveling, especially with her grandkids who she doted on every chance she got! She was an amazing military wife, mother, grandmother, co-worker, neighbor and friend. She has been reunited with Dan and will smile down on her loved ones as our newly appointed angel.

 

Robyn will find final rest alongside her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery.  Details will be shared at a later date.

 

A Celebration of Robyn's Life at Becky's house will be forthcoming, as well.

 

Robyn is and will forever be missed.
