Obituary of Kwai Fan Yu

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Kwai Fan Yu, on March 4, 2024. She was a remarkable woman who dedicated her life to her family.

 

Born in 2/2/1947 in Guangzhou China, our mother was a loving and devoted mother who single-handedly raised her children, Russell and Danmin, after the untimely passing of her husband. Despite the challenges she faced, she worked tirelessly to provide for us, even immigrating to the United States to ensure we had access to higher education and better life.

 

Throughout her life, our mother exemplified selflessness and dedication. She was always there for us, whether it was cooking delicious meals and soups, taking care of household chores, or nurturing her grandchildren. Her unconditional love and unwavering support were a source of strength for our family.

 

Kwai Fan, our mother’s departure leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled. We will always cherish the memories we shared and the love she showered upon us. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.

 

May you rest in peace, dear mother. We take solace in knowing that you are reunited with our father and your parents in heaven, where you can both find eternal happiness and serenity.
