Obituary of Thomas Davis

Thomas Bruce Davis, 76, passed at DT Care Group Home, Surprise AZ, on January 28th. He was born in Dixon IL but was raised in Rock Falls IL and attended Rock Falls schools. His parents were Maxine Davis O'Brien and Charles Davis, who pre-deceased him. He was extremely close to his brother-in-law, Norman Simpson, who also pre-deceased him. Earlier in his life, he owned Davis Auto Body in Rock Falls, for which he received the Young Businessman of the Year award, and Davis Pre-Owned Autos in Rock Falls. Tom loved drag racing in Cordova, IL and won many trophies there. He leaves behind two children, Tony (Liz Rex) of Wisconsin and Tracey (Brett) Schwab of Downers Grove and three grandchildren, Emily, Luke, and Kaitlyn Schwab along with one sister, Sheryl Simpson of Surprise. He was very close to his niece, Noelle (Nick) Trinder and their children, Elayna and Jack, also of Surprise and had many cousins and friends. There will be no services per his wishes.
