Torin Campbell

Obituary of Torin Allen Campbell

Born on May 24, 1961, in Rochester PA, Torin was the son of the late Allen Bertram Campbell and

Thomasine Therese Roeser. He grew up in Hershey, PA, where he met his high school sweetheart and

love of his life, Meta (McElrath). They married in March of 1984, and remained together by the grace of

God, and bound by their love for each other, until his death parted them on August 1, 2023.

He is survived by Meta, and their four children, Taylor Aston, Kaile Jensine, McKenna Carlan and Riley Mason (Cynthia) and three grandchildren Elijah Torin, Charlotte Rhea Louise and Mason Aston, and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of his fourth grandchild, due to be born in January to Riley and Cindy. He is also survived by his mother, Thomasine and sister, Maeve Louise Ketner (Jim) and nieces Maureen and Erin.

Torin earned his BS in Finance from Arizona State University in 1986 and went on to earn his Certified

Management Accountant designation in 1996. He worked for various manufacturing companies as a

financial controller until being forced to retire early due to the effects of Young Onset Alzheimer's

Disease, of which he was diagnosed in 2018.

Through all of life's challenges, Torin had a quiet, persistent trust in the Lord that gave him a calm

countenance and the strength to face each day. Our world will not be the same without him, but we are

still hopeful because of Christ's sacrifice for us. "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we

are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles

are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,

but what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-
