Obituary of David Dale Andersen

David Dale Andersen (67) of Buckeye, Arizona, passed away surrounded by family on July 23, 2023 from acute respiratory failure.

Dale was born in Blue Island, IL, the middle child of Betty and Arol Andersen’s five children.

Having grown up in the Chicago area, Dale found his passion for baking at a young age and met his wife, Eileen, at the family bakery.  He and Eileen started their life together in September of 1974 and over the next several years grew their family to include three daughters.  Through the years, the family moved around the country as Dale continued to work in the food production industry. Having resided in Arizona for the past several years, Dale continued his passion for baking into his retirement by opening a cottage bakery with his wife and eldest daughter.

Throughout his life Dale always had a passion for live music.  From taking Eileen to a Three Dog Night concert when they were dating, to introducing his girls to many artists over the years, spending numerous evenings listening to music at his favorite restaurant, Vincitorio’s, and live karaoke at home, music was always a part of Dale’s life.  In his later years, Dale took his love for music to another level and began to write lyrics for music himself.

Dale was also an avid animal lover and was always surrounded by his animals.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Dale is survived by his wife, Eileen; three daughters, Cathy, Heather, and Theresa; brother, Wayne; and four grandchildren, Aaron, Adam, Elias, and Charlotte.
