Obituary of Joan Eloise Pfeiffer

Joan (McFadden) Pfeiffer, 80, passed away on August 19, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones, after battling Parkinson's Disease for nearly three decades. She was born near Bel Air, Maryland. She was a graduate of Bel Air High School, class of 1960. She was married to her beloved husband, Joseph Pfeiffer, for almost 63 years. Joan retired from retail sales from Dillard's. She is preceded in death by her mother, June Parrish; father, William McFadden; sisters, Charlotte Ann and Ruth Ellen; and brother, William Earl. She is survived by her sister, Beverly Joyce; husband, Joseph; children, Joseph (Sharon), Barry (Terri) and Leslie Pfeiffer; grandchildren, Megan, Rebecca, Zachary, Kelsey, Matthew, Jordan and Rachael; and great-grandchildren, Zoey, Charlotte, Mason, Lucy, Riley, Ella and Sabrina. She loved her family immensely and lived for her grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, with viewing from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a memorial service at American Lutheran Church of Sun City, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85373. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Parkinson's Foundation.
