Everybody has a favorite uncle and Uncle John was mine. He was always so welcoming, genuinely happy to see you and made any party or family celebration better and more fun because he was there. Because Uncle John had so many varied interests, he was full of great stories. I remember having a long conversation once about the difference between a good automotive paint and a great one. My husband Bernie enjoyed going on day trips with Uncle John to interesting museums and other venues, but just going out to dinner with him and Aunt Joyce assured an evening of good cheer and good conversation. Our family has lost one of the good ones. Rest In Peace, Uncle John, and give my Mom and Dad a hug from me.
